Hire our building...

NESM is housed one of the UK’s first purpose built combined Police, Fire and Ambulance Stations that dates back to 1886.

This magnificent building would have once housed four police cells, exercise yard, a total of 16 stables for the City of Sheffield Police Fire Brigade, engine house for the steam fire engines, bedrooms etc…

On its official opening on the 31st July 1900 the building and area would have been full of action and activity as it was central and close to the Court House and Rockingham Street Fire Station.

Areas of the museum lend themselves for a number of uses from film sets to TV Studios. Contact us today to find out more…

Hire our vehicles...

The National Emergency Services Museum is not just a museum with exhibits that sit behind glass! Yes we take great pride and care with our collection but we also work hard to keep the building and the collection alive.

You're able to hire the museum's vehicles and lots more for many different events and functions from education days to TV and filming.

The museum is able to provide uniforms, equipment, vehicles and staff for TV and Film work, from small student films to large Hollywood style filming.
