Volunteer at NESM...

The National Emergency Services Museum sits in the bustling heart of Sheffield and houses a treasure trove of curious objects and fantastic vehicles. An innovative and forward-thinking self-funded and independent organisation NESM is a centre for community, discovery, learning and fun. Open 5 days a week with over 40,000 visitors NESM provides a unique and characterful home in the Victorian police, fire and ambulance station for a wonderful historical collection with engaging and hands-on exhibitions like Blood, Bandages and Blue Lights: a History of the Ambulance Service, The Sheffield Blitz and Guarding the Coast combining technology and visual displays to create a truly immersive visitor experience. NESM also puts on regular in-house and city wide events. These range from all things big and small; from the regular large-scale 999 Family Fun day on the Moor to vintage events, fairs, charity events and more!

Are you looking for a dynamic, exciting and engaging cause to donate your valuable spare time or skills to?
