Hire our Event Space

The museum is housed in a grade II listed building formally a combined Police, Fire and Ambulance Station located right in the heart of the steel city.
Our conference room is available to hire day or night from just £90 for six hours and includes museum admission for all delegates.
Room hire is £6 per adult with a min hire charge of £90 and includes entry into museum galleries, meeting room, smart board, WiFi, tables and chairs. Extra charges may apply for guided tours/talks or multiple room layout changes.

Hot/cold drinks and biscuits can be provided for £4 per person all day. Hot and cold buffets, pie and peas or full sit down meals can also be provided by prior arrangement.

In addition to our conference rooms the museum Coffee Shop and Galleries are also available to hire from small informal meetings to a full product launch.

NESM is located just a short walk from tram stops and the main Sheffield Rail and Bus Stations. The City has a vast choice of hotels with the Hampton by Hilton next to the museum with onsite parking.

Hire our Event Space
Our Event Space was once our station's recreation room/dance hall, providing the men who would have once worked and lived here with somewhere to play billiards or cards or host events. It is located on the first floor of our historic home, a Victorian, combined Police/ Fire and Ambulance Station.
